Islas Filipino BBQ & Bar Rejoins the 2023 Filipino Restaurant Month in Canada
Toronto, 28 April 2023 – Islas Filipino BBQ & Bar owners, Ms. Mariel Buenaventura and Chef Mark Buenaventura, rejoined the second edition of the 2023 Filipino Restaurant Month in Canada (FRMC). Chef Buenaventura meticulously chose the menu for Islas’ prix fixe offering for FRMC: starter- Filipino peanut slaw, lumpiang shanghai or empanada; entrée- skewered pork, chicken barbecue or chicken adobo; and dessert- halo-halo or karioka. Ms. Buenaventura shared with the representatives of the Philippine Consulate General that their prix fixe offering became a best seller among their regular customers.END
